02 Mar HOT SHOPS IN LA
Whenever I’m in LA I love to peruse all the hip-happening home furnishing stores. You can always find something unique and funky. Here are a few of my favorites:
This store is an experience in “The Sexy”. It’s contemporary, fresh and a bit edgy…very Rock and Roll but in a sophisticated way. It’s in the heart of West Hollywood and the exterior of the building (gray with black accents) sets the stage for what you are about the experience when you walk in the store.Interior Illusions 7335 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046
Big Daddy Antiques
I happen to love antiques. They add a certain soul and character to a space that new or reproduction pieces can’t provide. The owners of Big Daddy Antiques travel throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia sourcing the unique and one-of-a-kind items their store is known for. It’s well worth the jaunt to browse their inventory if you are looking for something super special and unique.Big Daddy Antiques 3334 South La Cienega Place, Los Angeles, CA 9001
H.D. Buttercup is one of my favorite LA stores. They carry a lot of great lines but one of my favorites is the Timothy Oulton Collection (see photo). This look isn’t for everyone but I think it’s a fabulous collection for a man cave, a game room or billiard. It’s rustic, eclectic and very masculine.H.D.
