18 Mar Celebrating the Fierce Female
A couple of years ago when I went through a major life shift (aka divorce), I made a very clear intention to recreate my life and surround myself with individuals with big, bold, open hearts. I wanted to be inspired and in the company of people that are sharing their extraordinary gifts with our world and fully in touch with their divine and unique nature. Since then, my life has become incredibly rich with just that.
As a designer, I study beauty. That’s what I do. I find it in many things, the physical and non-physical. As I navigate through life and all it’s trials, tribulations, successes and great celebrations, I look to strong women to shed light, wisdom and insight on the journey. That is why I am starting a new blog series called “Fierce Females”. She is both strong and compassionate. Her beauty is beyond the physical, it’s radiant.
Every month we will be sharing an interview with a Fierce Female. We are going deep with the questions. Be prepared to be inspired, surprised and enchanted.
What is a Fierce Female?
A fierce female is a strong, bold intelligent leader. She is not afraid to step into the full expression of who she is. She makes it a part of her life’s mission to improve the lives of others with her talents, compassion and love.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
If you know a Fierce Female you would like to nominate, please share with me!
